English Premier League side Chelsea have signed England-born Ghanaian defender Travis Akomeah from Watford on a four-year contract, SportsworldGhana.com can report.
The 16-year-old talented fullback was on the radar of numerous clubs including Liverpool, Arsenal and Bournemouth.
However, the Champions League winners won the race to land the youngster after following him up for a very long time.
Akomeah is already training with his Chelsea new team mates and is tipped to succeed at the English giants.
He also predicted to be one of the best defenders in the coming years.
