Black Stars ‘B’ striker Saddick Adams admits the Stallions of Burkina Faso B team poses a lot of threat to Ghana going into Sunday’s 2018 CHAN qualifier reverse leg at the Baba Yara sports stadium but remains certain they will fall in Kumasi.
The Black Stars where held to a 2-2 drawn game in the first leg at the Stade du 4 Août and last week the Asante Kotoko striker who opened scoring for Coach Kwesi Appiah’s charges is hopeful of Ghana emerging victors after full 90 minutes in the crunchy encounter.
According to Adams the Black Stars players now have a clear idea of how dangerous their opponents are considering how dangerous they looked in the first leg in Ouagadougou.
Speaking exclusively to SportsworldGhana.com ahead of Sunday’s game Adams admitted with hesitation.
”I think this time football as changed because if you look at the first game in Burkina we found it difficult because we didn’t know their style of play but we were able to get a point there so coming into the return leg this Sunday is going to be a difficult task but surely we shall beat them’’
”They have a very good team because they don’t have a particular strength that we have to rely on, they are playing their normal game and that is what we have to be careful of. We just have to approach the game on Sunday with full strength, work extra hard and win”
He continued ”I say it’s going to be a very tough game because the Burkinababes are of the view that they can equally draw us here in Ghana but we have trained very well and hope that we will be able to beat them and qualify for the CHAN game”.
A win for Ghana will automatically qualify the Black Stars ‘B’ for the Total African Nations Championship which will be staged in Kenya from 11 January – 2 February 2018.
