The Ghana Football Association says it has introduced digital ticketing system for all 306 Ghana Premier League matches starting from the 2021/22 season.
“GFA President Kurt E.S. Okraku announced that in line with Government’s Digitalization policy, the GFA has taken steps to introduce e-ticketing for all Premier League matches beginning from the upcoming league season.” the Ghana FA said in a statement after the football governing body in the country visited vice president H.E Mahamudu Bawumiah.
This means we are going to see and end to the common practice where football fans congregate in large numbers at stadium gates to purchase match tickets.
The 2021/22 season commences in late October.
