Had a good game, he did not do much of the tackling as Wakaso did all the dirty work.

He was the engine of the Ghana team, he did all the dirty work in midfield to release Baba Iddrisu off the burden. He made some great tackles.

Replaced injured Mohammed Kudus and could have scored with his first touch bit he blasted the ball over the bar after being beautifully played through. He gradually warmed himself into the game with some delightful touches.
Jordan Ayew-8
Had a fantastic game and was a torn in the flesh of the South African defenders especially in the second half. His movement when he had the ball was perfect.

He carried the team on his shoulders in his 100th appearance. The Ghana captain netted the only goal of the game through a 33rd minute penalty. Ayew was superb when he moved forward and also made some good tackles when the South Africans were on the offensive

After a quiet first half, he stepped up his game and caused serious problems for the South African right-back. He was twice unlucky not to have scored. He was the only player on the Ghana side who could take the ball and run direct into the South Africa vital area.

He came on in the 84th minute for Kamaldeen, he was put through by Kofi Kyereh but he hesitated and the South African keeper Ronwen Williams save the danger.
