Bulgarian First Professional League side PFC Ludogorets Razgrad forward, Bernard Tekpetey says he was hopeful of making Black Stars squad for AFCON 2021 tournament.
But according to him, though he thought he could make the list for the tournament but he’s not disappointed after Milovan Rajevac snubbed him.
I thought I could make the list but unfortunately I couldn’t make it and I’m not disappointed not be in the squad”, he said in an interview with Metro TV.
According to the former German Bundesliga side Schalke 04 man, he knows everything happens for a reason and also believes his time will come.
“Everything is about time and I will work very hard to make the squad for the next call ups.”
“The management have their way of scouting and they think this current players are those who can fit in their plan for this AFCON but I’m ever ready to serve my nation at any time I get Black stars call up” Tekpetey concluded.
