Asante Kotoko attacker Franck Thiery Mbella Etouga scored his second hat trick of the season as the Porcupine Warriors humbled Accra Lions on Saturday in Kumasi but Bright Adjei of Aduana Stars repeated the same form against Eleven Wonders.
Kotoko won by 3-1 with all the three goals coming from the boots of the Cameroonian import.
His first goal was a sharp left footed shot that beat Lions keeper Fredrick Asare at the near post. His second effort came in the 45th minute through the spot before he completed his hat trick with seven times to full time with another deft left footed strike.
The hat trick sees Mbella become the first player to reach double figures of goals this season with eleven targets.
Meanwhile Adjei reached his ninth target of the season as he scored all the goals as the Ogya Boys defeated Wonders by 3-0.
