The Mbappe saga is about to end. If everything happens as expected on both parties, the signed official agreement that will tie the French footballer to Real Madrid will happen sometime in the middle of next week.
It will be the final straw of a tranfers that became the main priority and target of the club presided by one Florentino Perez. After the potent but useless attempt last summer with many different formidable offers from Real Madrid for PSG’s No. 7 that cheirman Nasser Al-Khelaifi completely ignored. Mbappe’s arrival will finally become a reality.
Over the last few days, negotiations have intensified between both parties and everything points to next Friday as the day in which this affair will finally be in the history books. Another aspect will be the transfer announcementand making it official, which won’t likely happen until the current season is over.
Mbappe is still plunged into the fight to win the French Ligue 1 this season with his current club. Real Madrid has behaved respectful at all times with formalities and the timing. Since January 1st, they already had the opportunity to freely negotiate the transfer after he becomes a free agent on June 30.
The Champions League match-up between the two clubs was also key in the timing, Mbappe specifically asked to not make a single move until after these two games happened. His idea was to prevent the atmosphere to get even more complicated than it already was due to his transfer.
