South Korea midfielder, Jeong Woo-Yeong believes Ghana has a poor teamwork which gives his team an urge ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament second group G clash on Monday.
The midfielder believes Ghana are fast but leaves spaces in behind where the Koreans could capitalize to exploits the Black Stars on Monday afternoon.
“Ghana seem to have a poor teamwork so I think we will create better chances in that area”, he told the press.
“Ghana are fast so you have to be careful of the space behind you. When the ball is stolen, I think using the back space in the reserve direction will create more chances.
The Koreans drew 0-0 with Uruguay in their World Cup opener on Thursday in a tight clash that was lacking quality at the sharp end of the pitch for both outfits.
That score was a fair result for South Korea against their South American counterparts who are ranked 14 places above them in the FIFA World Rankings, keeping their qualification hopes alive.
Otto Addo’s Black Stars from Ghana are the youngest team competing at this year’s World Cup and will hope to bounce back from that defeat on Monday.
Ghana lost 3-2 to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal and anything apart from a win may jeopardize Ghana’s qualification to the next stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.
The Ghana – South Korea game kicks off at 1pm.
