Henry Asante Twum, the spokesperson for the Ghana Football Association, has unveiled the highly-anticipated schedule for the Black Stars as they prepare for their upcoming match against Madagascar.
Amid growing anticipation from fans, Twum provided a detailed overview of the team’s preparations, leaving no doubt that the Ghanaian national football team is fully focused and determined to secure a victory in this crucial encounter.
“The match is scheduled for June 18th, so the technical team has met and submitted their program to the FA. They have expressed the desire for the team to spend a minimal amount of time in Madagascar,” said Asante Twum in an interview with Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com.
“The plan is for the team to commence training in Ghana, and, God willing, the players will arrive this week and begin their preparations. Unlike during the season when the players had to travel from their respective clubs, this time the season has ended, and many of them are available based on the letters sent to their clubs.”
“They will start their camp in Ghana on June 12th and stay for four days until June 16th. In the afternoon of the 16th, they will travel to Madagascar. This means they will arrive in Madagascar late on the 16th and officially train on the morning of the 17th. The match will be played on the 18th, and the following day they will return to Ghana.”
With a well-structured plan in place, the Black Stars are leaving no stone unturned as they aim for a successful outcome in their match against Madagascar.
