He stressed the importance of staying grounded and pushing forward, acknowledging that survival is not guaranteed yet.
Looking ahead to the upcoming clash against AS Monaco on Sunday, February 4, Ayew highlighted the significance of each point earned and the team’s collective effort.
“We need to stay calm and keep our feet on the ground. We need to keep pushing because we are still not safe. I thought that we would be smiling after the match but we are not far from survival. Today we picked a point away from home and we will see what we can do at Monaco.”
Le Havre currently stands 11th in the league standings, with Ayew anticipating a challenging encounter against Monaco, where he might face fellow Black Stars player Mohammed Salisu, who plays as a defender for Monaco.
