Assistant coach of Asante Kotoko, David Ocloo, remains steadfast in his belief that there is no undue pressure on the team despite their recent 2-1 loss to Nsoatreman at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The defeat against Nsoatreman marked the Porcupine Warriors’ fifth consecutive game without a win, having suffered four losses and secured one draw prior to the match-week 25 fixture.
However, Ocloo maintains optimism regarding the team’s future performances, emphasizing that they are still a work in progress.
“It is a work in progress. There is no pressure on us. We just have to go back and work hard and try to turn things around,” Ocloo affirmed following the game.
With Asante Kotoko currently occupying the 10th spot in the league standings with 33 points from 25 matches, Ocloo acknowledges the need for improvement but remains resolute in the team’s abilities.
Looking ahead, Asante Kotoko is set to face CAF Confederation Cup campaigners Dreams FC in their match-week 26 clash away at the Theatre of Dreams on April 14th, where they aim to bounce back from their recent setbacks.
