Ghanaian midfielder Collins Tanor, has completed a season-long loan move to Danish Superliga side Hobro IK on the Transfer Deadline Day.
The 20-year-old joined the Yellow and Black lads on a season-long loan deal from English Premiership side Manchester City.
The former Right to Dream central midfielder spent last season on a similar loan contract at Belgian lower-tier side KFCO Beerschot Wilrijk.
Collins Tanor, joined the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana as a 10-year-old. At the age of 18, he was taken to Manchester City, from which he was rented to FC Nordsjælland in January 2016.
Here he was found for two years before being loaned to Belgian club KFCO Beerschot Wilrijk in January 2018.
First, work and residence permit must be in place before Collins Tanor can drain into the Hobro shirt.
“In the summer, Collins was given the opportunity to appear here in the club, and he did well. He is a versatile midfielder who can both take a defensive and offensive role so he is a really exciting addition to our player squad,” sports director Jens Hammer Sørensen said.
“I’ve got a really good impression of Hobro IK, where I have been very well received so I look forward to playing for the club. The overriding goal is, of course, that the club must remain in the Super League and I will do everything to help achieve that goal, the 20-year old midfielder Collins Tanor.
