Golden Kick FC head coach Fiifi Parker Hanson says he is open to joining Accra Hearts of Oak, but only if the club meets his personal and professional conditions.
The highly-rated coach has emerged as a strong candidate to join the Phobians’ technical team after leading Golden Kick to an impressive run in the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup, where they reached the final. With Hearts of Oak currently restructuring their backroom staff under newly appointed head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, Parker Hanson’s name has come into focus.
Speaking to Akoma FM, the former Right to Dream Academy coach confirmed his willingness to consider an offer from the club—provided negotiations go smoothly and the working environment aligns with his values.
“Hearts of Oak is a big team, but it has its own style of operation. If they come to seek my services, I will gladly join them—only if the negotiations between us go well,” he stated.
“I will evaluate their method of doing things to see if it suits mine, but I will not force myself into any job if the working atmosphere is not pleasant for me.”
On the prospect of working under Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, Parker Hanson expressed enthusiasm, noting that the two share a strong professional relationship dating back to their days at Right to Dream.
“I’ve known Didi Dramani for a long time. We worked together at Right to Dream Academy, so working under him at Hearts of Oak won’t be a difficult task. In fact, it will help my career.”
However, he emphasized that mutual values and professional ethics would ultimately determine whether he joins the club.
“That doesn’t mean I will still go to Hearts if my ethics don’t align with theirs. If they do, there won’t be any issues. I welcome any club that wants to collaborate with me.”
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak are also in advanced talks to appoint Najahu Issah, the former Asante Kotoko goalkeepers’ trainer, as part of their technical overhaul ahead of the 2025/26 season.
