Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu has taken a major step in his recovery journey, returning to group training with Stade Rennais following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to an ACL injury.
Seidu, who suffered the anterior cruciate ligament injury back in November, is now back on the pitch with his teammates—though he remains on a modified schedule, participating only in half training sessions for now.
In addition to joining partial team drills, the 24-year-old has been undergoing individual physical workouts, gradually increasing the intensity to prepare for a full return to action.
His comeback is seen as a major boost for Rennes ahead of the upcoming season. Known for his strength, pace, and versatility in defense, Seidu’s presence was sorely missed during the latter half of last season.
