Kariobanji Sharks’ chairman, Robert Moaga, has heaped some pretty high praise on Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan ahead of Saturday’s Caf Confederation Cup reverse leg in Kumasi.
Asante Kotoko SC held the Kenyan side to a scoreless stalemate last week in Nairobi and will welcome them to the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday for the second league.
Coach CK Akonnor, will be counting his charges fine display in the first leg to end the Kenyan side’s campaign in the African inter-club competition with a convincing win on Saturday.
Commenting on Annan’s outstanding performance in the first leg at the Kasarani stadium, Moaga branded the Black Stars shot stopper as one of the best goalkeepers on the continent.
“We identified three good players in the @AsanteKotoko_SCteam.The no. 10,a winger and their goalkeeper. In fact their goalkeeper ‘@van_felix21is one of the best in Africa” Robert Moaga said on Nhyira FM.
Kotoko gained a walk over in the first round of the competition following their Cameroonian opponent’s inability to reach deadline for certain requirements by CAF.
The crunchy match kicks off at exactly 3:30 pm local time.
