English born Ghanaian youngster Calum Hudson-Odoi scored as Chelsea thrashed Sheffield Wednesday to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The 18 year old’s goal was sandwiched by two Willian goals as the Premier League side beat Wednesday to be in Monday’s draw.
Brazilian winger Willian started the thumping after converting from the spot in the 26th minute.
Hudson-Odoi doubled the lead in what could be his last game for the club following reports of a move to Germany to join either Bayern Munich or RB Liepzig.
Willian added his second and Chelsea’s third after a brilliant one-two with French forward Olivier Giroud.
The game was not without controversy after referee Andre Marriner awarded the visitors a penalty for Ampadu’s apparent foul on Pelupessy, but the VAR Graham Scott replayed the incident, showing Ampadu got the ball and the Wednesday man had kicked his heel.
Chelsea, the holders of the FA Cup will find out their next opponents in today’s draw.
