Elmina Sharks sealed a narrow 1-0 victory over resurgent Accra Hearts of Oak in matchday 2 of the Normalisation Committee Special Competition at the Nduom Stadium on Wednesday.
The Sharks needed an 85th minute strike from striker Felix Addo to deny Kim Grant’s side a point in the crucial game.
The Phobians proved to be the better side throughout the game but their beautiful display wasn’t enough to at least earn them a vital point in their trip to Elmina as Yaw Acheampong’s side clinched all three points.
Hearts return to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday to host Karela United FC who were drew 1-1 with Dreams FC at Dawu.
