Former Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi and his ‘boys’ over the weekend, were handed a very bizarre treatment in Dormaa Ahenkro after they were denied entrance to the Dormaa Palace to allegedly campaign for Ghana FA presidential hopeful Osei Parma.
Despite serving a life ban from football worldwide, Nyantakyi’s sheer breadth of knowledge and experience gained over his 13-year stay in office cannot be overlooked as the FA look for a new leader. Undoubtedly the lawyer would have a huge influence in the election.
In the video, the palace guards at the Dormaa palace were seen preventing Mr Nyantakyi from, ostensibly, coming to campaign for his preferred candidate.
The other two people who were captured in the video were Techiman City boss Takyi Arhin, who recently stated on radio that he is the Bono Ahafo representative for the Palmer campaign team and Kofi Manu aka Blue Boy who is said to be sympathetic toward their candidate.

SportsworldGhana.com, also understands that Mr, Nyantakyi and his contingent proceeded to Techiman Palace to solicit for massive support for the Tema Youth owner Mr. Winfred Osei Kwaku Parma.
The Ghana FA goes into polls next month to elect a new President succeed Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Former vice president George Afriyie, Osei Parma, Kurt Okraku, Fred Pappoe, Nana Yaw Amponsah and Amanda Clinton have all filed their nomination forms to contest for the highest seat of the nation’s football governing body.
