Asante Kotoko were held to a goalless stalemate with regional rivals AshantiGold in match day 10 of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Striker William Opoku Mensah, had a brilliant chance to fire the hosts the lead but his childish move ensured goalkeeper Frank Boateng pick the ball out of his foot to salvage his side from goal down in the game.

Maxwell Konadu’s side failed to open a 3-point gab at the top of the table with a win over the Elephants as they struggled to unlock Ashantigold’s resolute defense.
The Porcupine Warriors were lucky to snatch a point as AshantiGold midfielder Appiah McCarthy’s last minute strike ricocheted the up right as proceeding ended.
