The Ghana League Clubs Association [GHALCA] are insisting for a detailed copy of the contract signed between the Ghana football Association ]GFA] and StarTimes, the new coverage holder of Ghanaian domestic football.
The Ghana football Association in november 2016 sealed a deal with the television company StarTimes for a duration of 10 years as partners.
Sportsworldghana.com understand, the League Clubs Association are ready to take a move to halt the start of the Ghana premier league which is set to start on 4th February 2017 if they’re not furnished with details of the million dollar deal.
GHALCA had already written to the Ghana football Association for increase in an appearance fees of participating teams of the upcoming GFA organized GALA tournament.
According to GHALCA if the appearance fees of the tournament is not increased, they’ll advise all members of the Association to withdraw from participating in GALA competition.
