Players of the Black Stars will undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test today Tuesday 9th November 2020 ahead of the AFCON qualifier against Sudan on Thursday.
According to the FA, the playing body, the technical team and management of the senior national team will all be tested as part of protocols to be observed before the matchday three game.
Last month, six players tested positive for the virus after Ghana’s two friendlies against Mali and Qatar in Antalya-Turkey.
So far, sixteen players have reported to camp for preparations ahead of the game on Thursday in Cape Coast.
The Sudanese team is expected to also be tested before the game.
CAF has ordered a team must have eleven players and four substitutes to play the matches for the third and fourth rounds of games.
The GFA has also confirmed the game between Ghana and Sudan will be played behind closed doors.

Ghana face Sudan at the Cape Coast stadium on Thursday, November 12, before travelling to Khartoum three days later for the reverse tie.
