Former Division One League board chairman, Lawyer Ntow Fianko has described Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s decision to seek education from Ghana FA to appeal a case is shocking.
According to the astute football lawyer, the Porcupines must call for the head of the person who wrote the letter in the name of the club to Ghana FA.
“Asante Kotoko must sack the person who wrote to seek education from the GFA on directions to appeal their appeal case”, he advised when speaking to Kessben FM.
The former Division One League chairman also stated that it is a disgrace for a club like Kotoko to not know how to appeal cases.
“This is or was an embarrassment on the Kotoko brand because they have lawyers who should advice them on the right path to take. Every lawyer has his field of expertise and Kotoko management must be conscious henceforth”, he said
“It was completely unheard-of, on the part of Kotoko to write that letter to the GFA. He further emphasized that it should have been Kotoko lawyers writing to GFA but not the administrative manager. For instance, I have been the lawyer for Berekum Arsenal and Alhaji Yakubu Moro never wrote any letter to the GFA because all his letters have to pass through me as his legal representative, Lawyer Ntow Fianko paraphrased, he added.
