WAFA SC star Augustine Boakye was adjudged Man of the Match in his side’s win over Bechem United on Sunday.
The Academy Boys returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 victory at home over Bechem United FC in Sogakope in matchday19 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Boakye was again at his quality best as he controlled the midfield with some unplayable displays throughout the full duration of the match.
The Red and Whites secured their first win in three games since their 3-1 victory over strong team Karela United and since lost 4-0 to Hearts of Oak in Accra before their 1-1 stalemate away at King Faisal.

Two minutes to half time, Lawrence Agyekum’s long range drive found the back of the net to give the hosts a 1-0 lead before the interval.
There were no goals in the second half as the Academy Boys beat the visitors to secure their first win of the second round of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League.
WAFA will travel to face Elmina Sharks FC next weekend as Bechem United entertain Aduana Stars in a regional derby.
