Berekum Chelsea FC striker, Bright Amponsah scored the fastest goal of the season in his team’s defeat at home to West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC on Friday.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward took just 26 seconds to grab the fastest goal in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season in Berekum.
Amponsah, before his goal had scored a goal in four appearances this campaign for the Bibires who are struggling to hit their stride this season.
Despite his early goal in the match, the Blues succumbed to a painful 3-2 defeat at home to remain in the bottom half of the league table.
With his historical strike on Friday, Amponsah takes his goal total goal tally to two in five games this season in the domestic top-flight league.
