Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Amed Toure now on the books of Bechem United has been accused of influencing three Ivorian players to end trials with the Ghanaian giants where Toure himself made a big name.

The players name have been given as Alexandre (a striker), Alain (a striker) and Marcelin (a center back) by their agent Ahmed Tahirou.
But surprisingly the three Ivorian players reported at the training ground on Monday but did not train and for the Tuesday morning session, they did not report at all and it has now emerged that Toure influenced the players to abandoned the club.
The former Kotoko striker has also been accused of trying to link of the players to Bechem United- where Toure recently signed a deal.
Abeiku Mensah, the driver of the players, has alleged that Toure was instrumental in the players taking the decision to cut short their trails with Kotoko.
” I am the one who received the players in Ghana here and have been transporting them (the 3 Ivorian players) to and from the Kotoko training ground. Yesterday the players did not even want to go to the training ground but I forced them. We went there but they did not train. Today they did not even go at all. They are rather training at the hotel’s gym center. It it Amed Toure who has influenced the players to stop training with the club. We saw him at the hotel. He came there to lodge and after we saw him with the players. And suddenly the players attitude changed and they stopped going to training. Toure has also given them telephone numbers of other clubs. We have tried to access their phones to see the numbers bu the players have locked their phones. I want you to ask Toure what was he doing with the players” Abeiku Mensah told Metro FM’s Gariba Raubil.
“I do not know when the players will resume training because there are issues to settle with them. Several other people are asking about the players and I feel Amed Toure want to convince one of them to join him at his new club Bechem.” the players’ agent Ahmed Tahirou added.
