As reported by Foot Mercato, Turkish club Galatasaray are pushing to sign PSG’s transfer-listed Senegalese international midfielder Idrissa Gueye this summer.
With Paris looking to overhaul their squad and cut numbers to 21 senior players, excluding youngsters, the 32-year-old former Everton and Lille midfielder was included on a list of 11 names that the club are looking to sell this summer in a bid to generate much-needed transfer revenue.
The Turkish club have already submitted a €5m offer for the midfielder, which was deemed insufficient by Paris, but Galatasaray are planning to double down on their efforts to sign the player with a meeting set for tomorrow between the two parties to discuss a sale and a new offer.
Gueye has just one year left to run on his PSG contract and has played 111 games for the club since joining in the 2019/20 season.
