David Alaba’s first goal for Real Madrid is one he’ll never, ever forget.
The Austrian defender started in his first El Clasico on Sunday afternoon and he opened the scoring in the first half at Camp Nou as Madrid won 2-1.
Alaba was part of a sweeping counterattack after Barcelona’s Memphis Depay lost the ball cheaply, with Vinicius Junior finding the former Bayern Munich man free in the final third.
The versatile defender then produced a stunning shot with his left peg that flew past a helpless Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the home side’s goal.
