Asante Kotoko’s Head Coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, is expected to return to the Adako Jachie training ground on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, five weeks after undergoing a successful surgery.
His return is a significant boost to the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.
During his absence, Assistant Coach David Dickson Ocloo took charge of the team, leading them to a 2-1 victory over Hearts of Oak in the inaugural Democracy Cup.
The squad began pre-season preparations this morning at Adako Jachie, with new players integrating and adapting to Dr. Ogum’s comprehensive football philosophy.
The team will kick off their 2024/2025 league campaign with an away match against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.
