Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom has been handed a late call up to replace Raphael Dwamena for Ghana’s 2018 World Cup Qualifier against Congo, sportsworldGhana.com can confirm exclusively.
His late call up comes after FC Zurich goal machine Raphael Dwamena failed to arrive in Ghana for the crunchy clash slated for Friday September 1 at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
The Black Stars host Congo in the first leg of the double header qualifiers at the Kumasi Baba Yara sports stadium on Friday September 1 and will fly to Congo Brazzaville on Saturday for the reverse leg on September 5.
Yiadom is expected to arrive in Ghana tomorrow to wrap up preparations with his team mates for Friday’s game.
