Ghana’s striker, John Antwi scored for Egyptian billionaire Pyramids FC in their comfortable win in the Egyptian Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The 28-year-old Ghanaian forward was a second-half substitute as he came on the 59th minute to take the place of Dudu Al-Gabas to play the last 30 minutes of the match.
Islam Issa opened the floodgate of goals for the hosts on the fifth minute but was scared by the visitors four minutes into the second half when Katie Shehata converted a spot-kick to level matters for Shabab Al Obour.
Egyptian star Ramadan sobhi restored the top-flight’s team lead through a spot kick on the 72nd minute before substitute Ibrahim Adel made it 3-1 with barely ten minutes left to play.
On the 90th minute mark, Antwi scored the icing on the cake goal to make it 4-1 which saw Pyramids cruise to a comfortable and emphatic win at home to advance to the next stage of the Egyptian Cup.
Antwi is yet to find the back of the net for Pyramids FC in the league this season after playing eight games but has two goals in Cup competitions for his team after scoring one in the CAF Confederation Cup.
