Ghanaian striker Caleb Ansah Ekuban will play no part on Saturday when Trabzonspor welcome Galatasaray to the Senol Gunes Stadium in the Turkish league top liner.
Ekuban was injured at training and subsequently missed Trabzonspor’s Turkish Cup fifth round game with Adana Demispor on December 16.
His club medical team were hoping to get him fit for the epic clash with Galatasaray tomorrow (Saturday) but he failed a fitness test on Friday which means he is ineligible to feature.
The absence of Ekuban will be a big worry to manager Abdullah Avci as he is one player who mostly delivers at big games.
Ekuban has netted thrice in nine games so far this campaign.
