The Confederation of African Football (CAF), has stripped off Cameroon of the hosting right for Africa Cup Of Nations,2019.
This decision was arrived at on Friday, 30th November 2018, after a marathon 10 hour meeting held in Accra, Ghana.
CAF, is of the firm belief that the Central African country, is not ready to host the rest of Africa come July 2019, where the tournament is due to start.
Reason is the delay in their preparations as noticed severally by the inspection team of CAF.
The tournament has been expanded to involve 24 countries for the first time from its 16 countries participation on the continent.
CAF, has disclosed of naming a new host by the end of the year 2018.
Morocco may be offered the opportunity to host this tournament per reports gathered by our outfit.
