Chipolopolo Legends, ex-former stars of the Zambian national team defeated their African legend counterparts in a charity game.
The game played at the Heroes Stadium in Zambia attracted football fans to see their adored football idols who have since retired from the beautiful game.
The much-anticipated game had super stars featuring for both sides. The African Legends were represented by Adebayor, Kidiaba, Lucas Radebe, Karim Haggui, Stephane Mbia, Okocha, Asamoah Gyan, Mboma, Kalusha Bwayla, Siaka Tiene, Kwadwo Asamoah, Mark Fish, Stephen Appiah, Amokachi.
Francis Kasonde, Stopila Sunzu, James Chamanga ,Rainford Kalaba, Emmanuel Mayuka,Collins Mbesuma, Christopher Katongo, Jonas Sukuwa, Noah Chivuta, Clifford Mulenga started for the Chipololopolo Legends.
Emmanuel Mayuka gave the Zambians legends the lead but was cancelled out by Kampamba Chintu own goal. Cameroon Legend Mboma from the spot Kick to give the African legends till Legendary TP Mazembe goalkeeper Kidiaba was beaten to push the game to penalties.
The game ended in a pulsating 2-2 draw. However, the Zambian legends won through the penalty shootout 10-9
