The former Hearts Of Oak gaffer has promised to sign the Miners’ star midfielder for the Premier League returnees.
Real Tamale United- RTU head coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko is confident of signing Ashantigold midfielder David Abagna ahead of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Abagna,22, won the 2016 Ghana Premier League with the then Wa All Stars, now Legon Cities FC.
Speaking on Tamale-based NTV he revealed that talks have already commenced securing the signature of the top midfielder to strengthen their team for the upcoming season.
“He is my darling boy, I have already spoken to him about it and hopefully we can get him before the season starts” he added.
Shaibu Tanko has made history by becoming the first to lead the Tamal-based club back to the Ghana Premier League since 2013.
