Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC have officially confirmed the signing of Ghanaian wonderkid ‘Asoum Messi’ Clinton Opoku, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The 18-year-old versatile forward was signed from the defunct club side Phar Rangers owned by the Chief Executive Officer of the Porcupines, Nana Yaw Amponsah.
The left-footed player has signed a four-year contract until 2025 with the two-time CAF Champions League winners and the record winners of the Ghana top-flight league.
He is highly-rated by football conesiuers and has been tipped by many to have a successful footballer.
He will join Prosper Narteh Ogum’s side for their pre-season training ahead of the 2021-22 season in Ghana which starts on October 29.
