They had an abysmal campaign last season which resulted in their relegation from the apex of Ghana football club competition to the Division One league.
Whiles news of a proposal of a 20-team league continue to linger in the football fraternity, former FA cup champions Edubease are bracing themselves for the DOL by ringing changes in their technical and management departments
Rumours of the dissolution of the Anthony Commey led technical committee were confirmed by owner and bank roller Abdul Salam Yakubu in an interview with Peace Fm.
According to Salam, the changes were necessitated by the team’s poor showing last season which has seen them trade the GPL for DOL
“It’s true we have made changes in the management and technical committees. We are making the changes ahead of the DOL season. We are doing this for the betterment of the club”. The words of Abdul Salam Yakubu .
He however denied suggestions that the changes were being due to a potential takeover by a Turkish company.
“The changes are not being made because we want to sell the club to the Turkish company. New Edubease FC is not for sale. The team is for the people of Edubease and I will not sell it”. He said
