Lateral defender Dennis Appiah is aiming for victory when his side Nantes face Stade Rennes in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
Nantes defeated Metz 2-0 last week and Appiah is confident that they can record their second win in two games this weekend.
“It’s a super important game, which we want to win. There will be a little more tension with the return of the public to the stadium but it’s the kind of game we like to play.” Appiah stated ahead of the game
“We want to be there and deliver a very good performance. The objective is to gain points and maintain momentum. ” He added.
Appiah is expected to maintain his starting berth at right back on Sunday.
