General Manager of Dreams Fc, Ameenu Shardow has shed light on the clubs’ ambitions in the on-going CAF Confederation Cup tournament.
The “Still believe club” attained continental assignment after defeating king Faisal last season in the MTN FA Cup finals. Dreams Fc have been a surprise package in this year’s African Club Campaign after booking top slot in tough group alongside Rivers United, Club Africain and Academica Do Lobito.
In an interview with Tv3, the general manager of the club Ameenu Shardow disclosed that. “
“I am very confident, and I like the fact that people are beginning to recognize the effort we are making and supporting us in diverse ways,”
“If the support we are getting can be translated to the venue, I know and I am very confident that we will qualify for the semi-final.” Ameenu Shardow further stated.
Dreams FC have been paired against Malian giants Stade de Malien in the quatre finals of the competitions.
The first leg will be played away at the Stade Mars 26 in Bamako on Sunday, March 31, 2024, while the second leg will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
