Ghanaian international Edwin Gyimah has pointed out why he finds its tough playing against his former club Orlando Pirates.
Gyimah mentioned that he loves to play against Kaizer Chiefs as he always excel but finds its tough when facing his past employers.
“I’ve noticed with Chiefs, every time when I play against them, I always have a good game. A lot of my Man of the Match awards come from Chiefs games. Every time we play against them, I have a good game,” Gyimah told the crew.
“With Pirates sometimes, ha, ha, I tend to struggle… yho! So, I was happy when I got Man of the Match when we played against them in Venda. For me neh, let me speak honestly… every time we meet with Pirates, I don’t really play the way I want. I don’t enjoy my game. I want to come out and say, ‘Okay, I am also on the same level as them.’ I wouldn’t want them to see that I am in this team and where I am determines how I play. I want them to see that when they come to the field, there is also a good player. That’s my mentality,” he added.
The talented central defender is expected to sign for Chippa United as a free agent this window.
