Equatorial Guinea giants Akonangui FC, have expressed interest in signing AshantiGold SC ace Richard Osei Agyemang and are ready to pay a whooping $250,000 for his signature, according to President of the Obuasi-based club Dr- Kwaku Frimpong (Champion).
According to him, officials of the club approached him after their Caf Confederation Cup reverse leg in Obuasi for a possible transfer of the former Asante Kotoko center-back to their club.
This, he says, gave him the power to quote that amount which the Guinean club have agreed to pay for the signature of the Ghanaian international.
Speaking on AShh’s Supersports show, the business mogul said ”
Akonangui FC have expressed interest in the services of our defender Osei Agyemang and I told them he is worth $250,000 which they are willing to pay to enable them sign him,”
He added ”Negotiations are currently still ongoing and once they finally agree to release the amount, we will let the player join them,”
Osei-Agyemang has been in imperious form since joining the miners from Asante Kotoko two seasons ago.
