Ghana youth international Joselpho Barnes has signed for Latvian giants FC Riga as a free agent.
Barnes moves to the Skonto Stadium on a three-year deal after spending five years at Schalke 04 where he progressed to the second team.
He was initially scheduled to join Belgian second tier club Excelsoir Virton but the deal failed to go through despite impressing on trials.
Barnes was part of the Ghana Black Satellites team which won the U20 AFCON earlier this year in Mauritania.
