English League Two side, Walsall FC has announced the signing of Ghanaian winger Albert Adomah on a one-year contract, making him the sixth summer signing for the Saddlers.
The 36-year-old joins the club after departing Queens Park Rangers, where he spent the last four seasons.
Adomah, a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience, is known for his stints at Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest, among others. He holds the record for most appearances in the Championship with 528 matches, and his impressive track record is expected to bring a new level of quality to Walsall FC.
During his time at QPR, Adomah made 129 appearances across all competitions, including 18 appearances in the 2023/24 season, taking his career total to an impressive 775 matches. His experience will be invaluable to Walsall FC as they aim for success in the upcoming season.
Adomah has also represented Ghana 19 times, participating in the 2013 African Cup of Nations and the 2014 World Cup. He scored his first international goal in a 1-1 draw against Canada in October 2015.
With Adomah’s signing, Walsall FC has strengthened their squad and added a player who has proven himself at the highest level.
