The first edition of the Ghana Football Association awards was held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the UPSA Awards.
The scheme awarded footballers both male and female at both the Regional and national level.
Medeama SC won the biggest award on the night with giants Asante Kotoko picking up two awards while their rivals Accra Hearts of Oak missed out on any plaque.
The awards night all saw the performance of multiple VGMA Songwriter of the Year winner Kofi Kinaata.
Medeama SC’s Vincent Atinga was also named as the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League Player of the Year.
