Former minister of Youth and sports Mallam Issah, has described all the Ghana Football Association presidential candidates apart from Amando Clinton as people who can easily be manipulated hence should be rejected by delegates.
He made this statement while speaking on Kumasi-based Akoma FM.
He says “Amanda is the only candidate who can not be manipulated by whoever and also she is the only person among the candidates who doesn’t own anyone that she’s going to pay when elected as GFA President.
According to him, “With the exception of Amanda Clinton, all the rest of the aspirants are like old wine in a new bottle So they have nothing new to offer Ghana football and all that they’ve now is the same as what former president Kwesi Nyantakyi did,”
“What Ghana football wants now is new ideas with new faces which Ghanaians can have confidence and trust and someone who can change the face of Ghana football to attract sponsors in order to develop football in the country.
“If the ministry has the power to appoint a GFA President, I would have intervened for the ministry to appoint Amanda Clinton ahead of her contenders,”
The ex- sector minister concluded by saying “if the delegates make mistake and let any of these candidates convince them to vote for him in the name of money, then there wouldn’t be any change in Ghana football until thy kingdom comes”.
