1. Karela faces Asante Kotoko in Nalerigu
Asante Kotoko travels to the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex on Saturday to battle Karela United once again.
Kotoko lost 2-0 to Karela in Abukari Damba’s first game as the head coach of Karela in the Round 16 of the MTN FA Cup.
Honourable Haruna Iddrisu revealed Kotoko’s unwillingness to play on that pitch but will have to honour the game now as they have no option.
Karela United aren’t safe in any way and their strength has always been at home. Placed 15th with just a point above the relegation zone, it is a must-win for Karela as a draw or defeat may send them to the relegation zone again. Asante Kotoko also needs to revenge the MTN FA Cup defeat and win to move on the same point as the leaders Samartex who plays on Sunday.
2. Samuel Boadu makes his coaching debut for Berekum Chelsea in Sogakope
It was rumoured that Samuel Boadu was returning to the dugout and Berekum Chelsea confirmed it on Thursday. They later also confirmed the sacking of Bismark Kobbie Mensah, the coach who had laid a wonderful foundation for Samuel Boadu to continue. The task is simple, finish Berekum Chelsea in the top four.

3. Can Aboubakar Ouattara make it 3 straight wins for Hearts of Oak?

Probably the toughest game of Week 20. Nations FC at Abrankese will welcome the defending champions Medeama in another test for Kasim Mingle.
Laryea Kingston selected him as his coach for Week 19 and he deserved it. A sweet 1-0 win in Samraboi against the unbreakable Timber Giants. Nations FC are unbeaten at home having recorded 6 wins and 3 draws. Medeama travels to Nations after total massacre in the CAF Champions League.
4. RTU’s troubles continue as they are almost dead
RTU needs help, they need financial help, Per sources from Oyerpa Sports’ Awuah, RTU’s bus has broken down and they need just ¢2,300 to repair it.
The players haven’t trained but are willing to honour the game at Kpando even if they will sleep in the team’s bus yet there’s no way for the club to travel to face Kpando Heart of Lions.

5. The dangerous Dun’s Park awaits Oly Dade
Dun’s Park is Bibiani Gold Stars’ heart and soul. The Bibiani-based club hasn’t won a single game away from Bibiani but has been so great at home since Frimpong Manso took over from Micheal Osei.
A 3-0 thrashing of Samartex, a 4-2 win over Legon Cities and a 3-1 win over Berekum Chelsea are the 3 last home games results.
A fixture against Accra Great Olympics is another big one but Dun’s Park is always ready to assist Bibiani Gold Stars. Olympics must prepare extremely well before they step on the pitch to face the Gold Stars as they are a different team, especially in the second half at Dun’s Park.
6. Dreams FC travels to Nsoatreman without ‘Star Boy’ Aziz Issah
Combined 10 goals are scored in the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Champions League by Abdul Aziz Issah. He was probably the best player in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup. He is now with the Black Satellites at the 13th All-African Games. How will Karim Zito’s Dreams FC fare without the talented youngster in Nsoatre?
Nsoatreman is wounded as they were beaten by Phobia in Nsoatre 2-1 last Week. They had every chance to close the gap on Samrtex but fluff their lines at home.
They are facing the much-confident John Antwi, Godfred Atuahene, Agyenim Boateng Mensah and Emmanuel Agyei who have the potential to damage opponents. It is a huge test for Maxwell Konadu and his charges.
7. Ogya Boys host the unpredictable Legon Cities
Aduana Stars surprisingly has not drawn a single game in the season. It is either a win or a draw!! Aduana Stars started the season so well but they have been a bit sloppy recently as their favourite Nana Agyeman Badu Stadium is no longer a fortress as teams have won points there recently. In their last 5 games, Aduana has recorded 2 wins and lost the other 3.
Legon Cities is a very bad side away but can cause an upset on any ground. Yaw Acheampong and his squad need to start building another momentum for the title.
8. Samartex seeks to bounce back in Bechem
It was the shock of the week with Samartex losing 1-0 at home to Nations FC. Before that defeat, the Timber Giants had played 8 games and won all at home. Samartex still is on top of the table with 3 points ahead of the second-place team, Kotoko. A trip to Bechem has always been a difficult one for any team historically. Nurudeen Amadu knows the job ahead and will seek victory to gather another confidence for the title challenge.
Bechem United has a game in hand but occupies 9th place and has won 26 points. Emmanuel Avonyor, Clinton Duodu, Cephas Mantey and Francis Twene’s presence are no longer felt since Okrah departed.
