Ghanaian attacker Kelvin Yeboah played a key role in Standard Liege’s impressive victory in Belgium, securing their spot in the Europa Conference League play-offs.
In a dominating performance against KAS Eupen, Yeboah not only provided an assist but also scored a goal in the 4-0 win in the Belgium Pro League.
This victory marked Standard Liege’s tenth-place finish in the regular season, earning them a chance to vie for a spot in next year’s Europa Conference League.
On loan from Genoa, Yeboah, who is the nephew of Ghanaian legend Tony Yeboah, showcased his talent by netting his fourth goal in just six matches for the club.
The game saw Wilfried Kanga open the scoring early on, followed by Yeboah assisting William Balikwisha to double the lead.
Yeboah then added to the tally with a goal of his own before Reagan Charles-Cook’s own goal sealed the victory for Standard Liege.
