Ghana’s attacker, Augustine Boakye has bagged another Man-Of-The-Match award following a blistering performance for his team in Austria.
The former Ghana Black Galaxies player found the back of the net for Wolfsberger AC in the Austrian Típico Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon away from home.
The former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate bagged assist too in the same game as his side secured a narrow win over Austria Lustenau.
Boakye put the visitors 1-0 up after just 13 minutes of the match with a clean strike which was the only goal of the opening 45 minutes of the match.
Thierno Ballo scored to make it 2-0 to the away team from the spot inside 64 minutes but Namory Cisse grabbed a consolation goal for the home team to make it 2-1 and reduce the deficit to just one on the 69th minute mark of the match.
Boakye set up Ballo to score his second goal of the match and his team’s third to restore their two goal advantage before Yadaly Diaby made it 3-2 at full time with another consolation for the hosts.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian forward has five goals and four assists in 13 games
