Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht have given 15-year old Ghanaian twin brothers Enock and Ebenezer Agyei their first professional contract until 2023.
The two promising talents were discovered by Anderlecht at the age of 10 at the beginning of 2015, after which they were persuaded by youth manager Jean Kindermans to follow the training program of the academy in Neerpede.
In Vincent Kompany’s project, Anderlecht focuses on its own youth. And the Agyei brothers fit that story perfectly.
Kindermans explains their past history: “They were discovered in January 2015 at the age of 10 by our regretted scout Pol Jumelle, whom we would like to thank again for his excellent work at Sporting. Pol saw them at work at the Edhem Sljivo -tournament, an indoor tournament in Liège. ”
“He called me for a phenomenal talent from a club from Verviers, I got into my car and see Enock excelling at that tournament. We were able to convince him and his twin brother to come to Anderlecht.” The boys moved – with their families – to the capital.
“Enock and Ebenezer soon felt like fish in the water at Anderlecht. Enock as a playmaker who also works smoothly on the flanks, Ebenezer as a fast and solid right back.”

A number of major European clubs have courted him since then,” said the website of the Belgian record champion. “Still, the 2 brothers, both youth internationals, their big brother and their family stayed in Anderlecht.”
This season, Enock will play for coach Craig Bellamy’s U21, where he will be able to show his talent. Eben plays for the U16, but of course hopes to follow in his brother’s footsteps. ”
