Ghanaian midfielder Iddrisu Baba Mohammed has had his dreams of progressing in the Spanish Copa del Rey cut to short on Wednesday night after his side Mallorca suffered a 2-1 defeat against Real Valladolid.
Mallorca picked a 1-0 lead early in the first-half but the hosts rallied from behind to claim the win and progressed on a 4-2 aggregate win after winning each legs 2-1.
Baba was unused as he watched the entire proceedings of the game from the bench.
The midfielder has been at the Spanish side since the 2016/17 season and has featured 8 times in the Segunda Division for Mallorca.
