Two quick late goals from youngster Mathew Cudjoe and striker Richard Arthur was all that Asante Kotoko needed to clinch all three points against Asante Kotoko in their Ghana Premier League match day 5 fixture against Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.

The game ended goalless after first half but Maxwell Konadu’s tactical brilliance ensued his boys scored two late goals to give Kotoko their first win in their matches, having loss to Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC in their last two games.
Winger Emmanuel Gyamfi had to be substituted for Augustine Okrah with striker Richard Arthur coming on for Songne Yacouba.
The introduction of the two players brought fresh energy into the game for the hosts who started putting incessant pressure on the visitors but failed to score until the 86th minute when 16-year old Mathew Kudjoe struck to put smiles on the faces of the home fans who could only watch the game on the screens.
Few minutes after the Porcupine Warriors had taken the lead, substitute striker Richard Arthur scored his first league goal of the season as Kotoko wrapped the game with a deserving 2-0 win.
Asante Kotoko will next travel to Accra next week to face their bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak who also came from behind to beat Liberty Professionals 2-1 away in Dansoman in their crucial match day seven fixture.
